With continued growth and a busy ministry calendar, we’re looking for a Finance & Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This is a key operational role that supports the mission of the church by keeping our financial systems healthy, our facilities safe and functional, and our ministries well-resourced.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This part time position supports the financial and operational life of the church through consistent administration, clear processes, and practical stewardship of our buildings and facilities. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys detail, appreciates a tidy spreadsheet, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves when needed.
You will report directly to the Executive Minister and work closely with them to ensure the ministry team, volunteers, and wider church community can serve effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Financial administration - including accounts payable, receivable, banking, reporting, and supporting budgeting processes
Manning the front desk - greeting visitors, helping with enquiries, and taking incoming calls
Facilities coordination - liaising with contractors, managing facility hire, scheduling servicing, managing compliance checks, and keeping our spaces welcoming and functional
Supporting HR and payroll processes
Maintaining accurate records, registers, and systems
Assisting with operational projects that help our ministries run smoothly
ABOUT YOU:
You have a heart for the ministry of the local church
You are organised, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information
You enjoy both people and process
Experience with Xero and Employment Hero payroll is an advantage though full training can be provided
You are comfortable learning new systems and communicating clearly with staff, volunteers, and suppliers
