Cambodia Mission Trip 2025

Are you ready for an incredible, life-changing adventure? Join Warnbro Community Church as we partner with Partners Against Poverty for a Short-Term Mission Trip to Cambodia in May 2025.

For over 20 years, we’ve been leading teams into Southeast Asia, and every trip has left participants inspired, strengthened in faith, and with unforgettable memories. This is more than just another international trip – it’s an opportunity to grow spiritually, serve others, and make a tangible impact for God’s kingdom.

When

The trip is scheduled for 27th May to 10th June

Where

Our mission will take us to the heart of Cambodia. We’ll fly to Phnom Penh, the capital city, and spend a couple of days immersing ourselves in its history and culture. From there, we’ll head to the Khmer Youth Development Centre (KYDC) in the rural province of Takeo.

At KYDC, Warnbro Community Church supports the development of 30 rural church ministries, helping their pastors build congregations and share the gospel. Based in the Takeo Guesthouse, the team will travel to nearby villages to engage with ministries, outreach programs, and local churches.

What Will We Be Doing?

This mission is a mix of service, learning, and spiritual growth. You’ll have the chance to:

  • Visit cultural and historical landmarks, including sites tied to Cambodia’s ancient and modern history.

  • Engage with local communities in rural villages, experiencing authentic Cambodian family life.

  • Worship with village churches and assist in worship events.

  • Lead and support gospel-based programs such as ESL classes, preschool learning, and student coaching.

  • Participate in an outreach-focused building project at Tayeung Village Outreach Centre.

  • Help run outreach events targeting pre-Christian families.

  • Experience dynamic devotions, daily debriefs, and growth-focused faith moments.

  • Learn basic Khmer language and culture.

For those interested, an optional side trip to Siem Reap to visit the famous Angkor Wat World Heritage Site can be arranged.

Cost

The trip cost is estimated to be $2750 AUD per person, which includes:

  • Airfares, twin-share accommodation, meals (excluding drinks), and in-country transfers.

  • Team van travel to and from ministry locations.

  • Entry fees for historical and cultural tours.

  • Contributions to team mission projects, such as construction and outreach initiatives.

  • A limited number of partial subsidies may be available for those in financial need, subject to approval by church leadership.
